I'm Kari, and I simply adore capturing images of amazing people. I am so honoured that you are considering me to tell your story! When I'm not behind the camera, you can typically find me with a cup of tea in hand, spending time with my husband, our two energetic sons, our friendly dog, and chickens on our homestead. As a mama myself, I have truly found that family photos are the most meaningful artwork we will ever own.

I've always loved all art mediums, but photography made a permanent home in my heart back in high school, where I completed advanced placement of university curriculum as well as graduated with multiple scholarships and awards. I then continued studies in visual arts and a photography major in university and created my photography business, where my focus was photographing weddings for 10 years. When the pandemic first hit the wedding industry, and I also started building a family of my own, I decided to slow things down and discovered my passion for photographing families and have been doing that ever since!
